This position is located at Central Office in St. Paul and may work a hybrid schedule or work in the office. The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent will be expected to work in the office as determined by policy and discussion with their supervisor.

Our Transportation Project Selection Coordinator position provides professional planning and coordination for the agency’s transportation project selection process and policy in the Office of Transportation System Management. The position is responsible for implementing, assessing, and improving the project selection process and policy, including:

  • Serving as the agency expert on the project selection policy.
  • Leading the development of new updates or legislative change proposals to the policy.
  • Developing and preparing legislative reports.
  • Facilitating engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

Here are the Minimum Qualifications:

Two years of advanced professional transportation planning experience that demonstrates the following: 

  • Experience developing and/or implementing policies, plans, programs, or processes. 
  • Experience leading and/or facilitating internal and external stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience performing analysis utilizing Microsoft Excel and/or Power BI or similar software.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Planning, Geography, Urban Studies, Sociology, Political Science substitutes for six months of advanced professional experience.
