Sarah Constable Runkel

Sarah Constable Runkel, AICP is a Senior Planner and Project Manager at MSA Professional Services, Inc. MSA is a multidisciplinary professional consulting firm specializing in engineering, planning, GIS, and funding. At MSA, Sarah is involved in a range of projects including grant writing, land use planning, and zoning ordinance analysis and development. Although she enjoys the broad spectrum of projects that MSA offers, she is most passionate about community planning that explores the intersection of areas that directly impact people - especially transportation and public health.

Prior to joining the MSA team, Sarah was a planner with Region 6 Resource Partners. Sarah lives in Johnston, IA with her husband, son, and their dog Kuzco, where she serves on the Senior Commission. She has been involved with Iowa APA since her graduate studies, serving as the Iowa State University Graduate Student Representative. Her education includes a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Speech and a Master's of Community and Regional Planning - both from Iowa State University (Go State!).
