Melissa Edsill Tiedemann, AICP

Melissa Tiedemann is an environmental professional, brownfields redevelopment practitioner, and business development manager with Stanley Consultants, an Iowa-based global consulting engineering firm.   During her 20 years of professional experience she has performed municipal planning activities, secured and managed millions of dollars in grant funding for redevelopment and performed Environmental Site Assessments to facilitate property transactions and redevelopment.  

Melissa holds a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Northern Iowa with a Community Economic Development Emphasis.   She also holds a Masters of Business Administration, Organizational Development from Upper Iowa University.  Melissa is an active member of APA-Iowa as well as many other professional and community organizations.  Melissa is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and a certified public facilitator by the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2).
