Marcus Coenen, AICP, PTP

Marcus is a transportation planner with Felsburg Holt & Ullevig, a transportation planning and engineering firm. Marcus brings more than a decade of experience in transit and transportation planning navigating clients through the connections between technology, land use, funding, and policy. Marcus regularly supports clients with data driven decision making and innovative approaches to economic benefits of transportation investments. His experience includes working with local governments, developers, metropolitan planning organizations, regional planning agencies, transit authorities, and community leaders. Marcus provides local, regional, and statewide policy support with an ever-expanding toolbox of implementation strategies and action steps that lead clients to future ready infrastructure. Marcus has a Bachelor’s Degree in History and a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning, both from the University of Iowa.
