Emani Brinkman, AICP

Emani Brinkman, AICP has worked for the City of West Des Moines since 2023, where she focuses on land use planning and zoning to guide intentional growth and development. She holds a Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Administration, with a concentration in Environmental Studies, from Coe College. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) from the American Planning Association (APA). She has served the Iowa chapter of the APA as the Planner Engagement chair since 2026.
