City of Johnston, Iowa Trail Master Plan RFQ
The City of Johnston, Iowa is seeking proposals to prepare a Trail Master Plan. The plan will summarize the existing program, consider current and future challenges, define a vision for the next 10 years of land protection and management, and outline a suite of tools and decision-making strategies for the community. Additionally, the geographic boundaries of the City have been expanded and now include area that was not previously studied. At this time the City seeks firms with experience to provide a plan that takes into consideration the existing conditions, capital improvements made to date, prioritize future capital improvement project and connectivity to other communities and future growth areas.

The City of Marshalltown, Iowa, (pop. 27,591) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced consulting firms to develop a new Comprehensive Plan with a 2050 outlook. The last Comprehensive Plan was completed in 2012.

City of Marshalltown Housing Market Analysis RFP
In 2017, the City of Marshalltown, Iowa, (pop. 27,591) completed a housing market assessment. This assessment was an update of a previous housing assessment completed in 2014. The purpose of the assessment was to evaluate current housing market conditions, assess the balance of supply and demand in the rental and for-sale markets, and identify housing gaps. The City plans to complete a comprehensive housing study evaluating the existing housing market and identifying opportunities and specific target areas to ensure a healthy housing market throughout the community to meet the needs of current and future residents.
