The City of Pleasant Hill is seeking a qualified individual for the position of either a Senior Planner or a Planning Manager in the Community Development Department.
The successful applicant will work under the Assistant City Manager/Community Development Director's administrative direction and perform various professional, administrative, and supervisor tasks related to planning and community development.
To be considered, candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in planning, public administration, landscape architecture, engineering, or a related field and at least five years of work experience preferably with a municipal planning department. Successful candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills, management experience, and experience with planning, development review, economic development, building, code enforcement, ordinances, budgeting, and working with boards, commissions, and the City Council.
