Leon Begay
Leon Begay is the APA Iowa student representative for the University of Iowa for the 2019-2020 academic year. He is a master's candidate
for Fall 2021 in the School of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of
Iowa. Leon received his BSE in civil engineering at Arizona State University in
2012. He is Dine (Navajo) originally from Tuba City, AZ on the Navajo Nation.
Leon worked in civil engineering land development as a project engineer in
Phoenix, AZ and Cedar Falls, IA primarily in the private sector for the past before starting the graduate program at Iowa.
